Look what years of second-hand smoke could be doing to your lungs!

chest of drawers

My sister bought this chest of drawers at an auction from an older couple who had died. The gentleman had been a smoker, and this chest was in the bedroom. Before my sister put it into her home she thought she would just clean it up, and as she was washing it she noticed that it was changing colors. She had to use a heavy duty automotive degreaser and after much scrubbing she got it back to its original condition. From a honey brown to a white!

The after picture shows the chest of drawers after my sister spent hours washing the second hand nicotine strains off of the piece of furniture. This is a prime example of what second hand smoke does to every thing it comes in contact with, especially our lungs, and as I tell the children we can’t take an automotive degreaser to our lungs to clean them up as my sister did to this beautiful chest of drawers.
